Master Redundancy Switch

PRS – Intelligent PROFIBUS DP Master Redundancy Switch
Top-hat rail based switch for the implementation of redundant PROFIBUS DP Master systems.
Allows the connection of two identical DP Masters to the DP Slaves.
Avoids galvanic contact between the DP Masters
Masters be configured with identical PROFIBUS addresses, making Multi Master mode unnecessary and excludes double address conflict.
In case of failure of the operational DP Master PRS physically switches over to the stand-by DP Master which seamlessly takes over the DP Slaves.

Multi-Port Repeater

ProfiHub B2+R, B5+R, B5+RD, X5 Is an Advanced Flexible, Robust network Component in Profibus as DP Repeater with Redundant Profibus Channels
If bus redundancy is enabled, 2 segments will form a redundant pair
Used in structure of Star/Tree Segment.
B5+RD it is equipped with an additional integrated micro ProfiTrace diagnostic unit. The ProfiHub offers a PROFIBUS DP slave device to transfer bus statistics and device event information to the PLC/DCS system.
X5 on each segment has customizable baudrate selection switch.

Multiport Repeater with FO Backbone

DP – DP Coupler
